Talking with my partner, looking for the rule that says it's OOB when the ball goes over the backboard. Where is it?

Not out of bounds if it goes over a fan shaped backboard.

I have not seen a basketball court have the two main baskets with a fan backboard...only on the side baskets if even that.

I actually had a game in a back gym with two courts, one with rectangle boards, one with fans. I had the court with the fans.
