Just got word from my Supervisor on the new changes for next season...there are more than these, but here are the highlights:

1)3 point line moved back to 20'6.5" - same as International line

2)Officials ability to correct a timing mistake at any point of game will be limited to occurring during the first dead ball after the game clock has been properly started...same as correctable eroors.

3)Officials can use court-side monitor at end of any period to determine if shot was released before clock expired (last season rule did not include first half)

4)Closely guarded distance changed to 3 feet instead of 6 feet...still only on held ball, anywhere on the court

5)Assistant coaches may no longer request a time-out

The rest had to do with the red lights on backboards, eliminating wording like intentional technical foul, adding the kicked ball leg swing, etc...

Actually, the Women's Committee is just going back to the way the rule was year's ago when women's college basketball was played using NAGWS rules which were based upon FIBA rules.
