Partner and I are debating. When a dribbler loses control and the ball bounces high, he puts his hand under it but does not dribble it again... I say no violation.

Right or wrong?

We're debating it because we can't find reference to the fact that it is not a violation in the books.

We also know that it takes a slow whistle not to call it right away - something we are both working on.

Agree or Disagree: This, and related "high dribble" situations, is often whistled (with one toot; two or three or more toots by those pushing the envelope) on the premise that "it just doesn't look good". No violation involved, but if it looks bad, it must be illegal.
