I consider it to be unacceptable for a kid of any age to tell an official that he sucks.

That's great, but pretty much all technical fouls for unsportsmanlike conduct fit that description.

"You Suck"? Not vulgar in my opinion. Definitely at Tech though.

Now once a college player called me a S.O.B, needless to say that wasn't a hard decision to make.

I have never called a flagrant T on anybody.

And in reflecting back on techs I have called I now realize I have never called a T on a coach for cursing. All the T's I've called on coaches have been for either outbursts and/or sideline antics.

Plenty of T's on players for cursing, but never anything flagrant or even close that I can remember.

That means different things to different people and always will. There are some that want use to throw out players or coaches if they say "Jesus Christ." The problem is not everyone is a believer in the same religion or has the same values if they are. We can play that game with any number of words, not just these words.

All noncontact technical fouls involves an act that is unacceptable conduct. You failed to include the latter part of the definition:

"If technical, it involves dead-ball contact or noncontact at any time which is extreme or persistent, vulgar or abusive conduct.
