Yes 21 min halves. and only this coach who I have had 1 other game with in past.

The sooner you stop worrying what coaches and fans think of your officiating, the sooner you'll take that next step to becoming an even better official.

Never judge your skills as an official by how the coaches react or don't react.

A few years ago, in the NFHS Quarterly publication, an article noted that the average fouls per game in high school sub-varsity games was in the mid 30's, and varsity games slightly lower. Fourty is not totaly out of line.
As for this particular coach, maybe you look like the guy that stole his girl friend in Jr. High. . .

Couple years ago I was doing a 5-6th grade tournament after the HS season we had an absurd amount of fouls, if it wasnt in the 60's I would be shocked. These werent and tick-tack fouls either, they were chopping arms off.

We had 5 girls fouled out, one team was now down to 4 players(3 had fouled out). The coach from the other team was still moaning wanting more fouls called! That game lasted 2 hours because we just moved into the 4 quarter format after the 2 half running clock round robin.
