Although T's are not personal fouls, they can, on occasion, get quite "personal", so be careful!
And welcome....

I am not disputing the delineation between personal and technical fouls. But to answer the question a little clearer, if a player picks up his/her 4th personal foul and then is assessed a T, the T is marked in the book under "personal fouls" as number 5, and the player is disqualified.
There tends to be some confusion among bookkeepers in our area weather or not to mark the T as a "personal foul". As JR mentioned, it also is added to the foul total in reference to the bonus. Blackhawk

Fed: All charged technical fouls are counted toward the bonus. Indirect technical fouls are only recorded if a direct technical foul is charged to bench personell (other than the head coach). Hope that helps a little. Chuck
