This thought just came to mind. I know a technial throw in is across from the table at the division line. I know a intentional personal foul is at the spot nearest the foul, but what about a Flagrant personal foul called for contact? Where does this throw in occur?? I thought it was at the division line, now I hear I might be wrong. Someone help me out please.

Thanks,

Tyler

A flagrant foul is not treated any differently than any other personal foul as far as the throw-in spot after the foul shots. It would be at the point closest to where the foul occurred. Remember, of course, that the player who commits a flagrant foul is immediately ejected from the game.

The player who is fouled must shoot the shots also, provided he/she is not injured, of course.

Just remember - a foul is always either personal or technical.

Add any other words that you like, but the throw-in location is determined by the above bases.
