A1 throw-in baseline. Ball thrown onto the court, ball batted in the air by B2 then A2 ball now heading straight
to player A1 who is still OOB.A1 jumps in the air towards the playing court catches the ball and before landing throws the ball off B2's leg and ball goes OOBs.
Was it a good move by A1 or violation?

A1 is out of bounds. Give ball to B where A jumped from. A player's inbounds/out of bounds status is determined by the last place on the floor he was touching.

Does this help

You are where you are, until you get where you're going.
