Labron James is on ESPN2 again tonight. Last time, the refs allowed him to play with an illegal undershirt. Tonight, he's playing with a rubber band on each wrist. How hard is it to tell the kid to dress properly?!?

It isn't a federation rule, but we try to enforce the players to keep their shirts tucked in. It is just a good habit to have trying to keep the basketball environment clean and up to par.

Did it bother you? It bothered me to see Labron's jersey hanging out the entire 4th quarter.

Not an NF rule?

Can I suggest another look at 3-4-15?

The announcer mentioned that it was a rule. Even Bill Walton commented something about players could keep their shirts in if they wanted to, that John Stockton's shirt is never out. Pretty tame comment coming from Walton, as opposed to his normal tone: "Terrible, horrible personal appearance!"

Did you hear the idiots on the mike talking about the foul that should have been called on LeBron James? They said he held the guy from behind on a layup, they went on about it for several seconds, Walton said "that's embarrassing" that the official didn't call it. Upon further review...good no call. The only thing embarrassing is those idiots.

Anyone who can say on national television, "If they want to score more points, they're going to have to get that ball in the basket" must have been born without the embarassment gene.

ART. 15 . . . A player's team jersey designed to be worn inside the pants shall be tucked inside the pants and the pants shall be above the hips and worn properly. A player not conforming to this uniform policy shall be directed to leave the game.
