The Superstars are only about $50 and you are right more expensive is not necessarily better.
As for the boring uniforms, I leave all of those worries to others, I just wear what I am told. What a lemming.

Kelly and Brian -
Main reason I'd like to go to shorts is it is more comfortable. And again .....refs for HS football, lacrosse, soccer all wear shorts ..why not basketball? Nothing fancy --Black shorts -- and of course shirt TUCKED IN. *grin* Jack

I'm all for shorts! But we know the powers that be would never allow that.
Although, when I was cutting my teeth in Indiana I worked some gyms that were so cold I wish I had thermals.
