Rec rules
We've had discussions about what rules would be good to use for rec leagues and I just received the rules for one of the kids spring leagues around here, so I thought I'd post them. The teams are from 6th grade thru HS. They play 22 minute running halves with stop time in the last minute of the first half regardless of the score, and in the last two minutes of the game if the point differential is 10 or less. Halftime is two minutes as are OTs (yeah, I know). Each team gets three 60 second timeouts per game. Bonus on 7th foul of half, double bonus on 10th. Oh yeah - players get six personal fouls before fouling out.
As you might imagine, these games go pretty quick.
