Is there a difference between baseline and endline?

I presume baseline is a term that is now called endline.

Any feedback as to the change?

I have been thaught that the proper terms are:

Endline (not baseline)
Sideline
Division Line (not half-court line, or midline)
Free Throw Lane, or Lane (not paint, key, zone, etc.)

These other terms are often used, but are slang.
