In NFHS When the ball is on the perimeter outside the 3 point line (in the front court) and there is a 3 seconds call - What is the spot of the inbounds? closest to where the ball was? or underneath?

thanks again

The ball should be put in play at the spot nearest the site of the violation. Therefore, on the baseline.

The throw-in is on the endline. You go to the nearest spot of the violation. It does not matter where the ball is. Same thing if a foul occurs in the lane.
