I had six summer league games in a row last year. I took some granola bars and water, and I felt great all the way through the end.

Note to those who do take Advil, take it BEFORE your game.

A few years ago, I was having various lower leg and foot issues after I returned form a major knee surgery. I found that if I took just one dose of Advin before the game, I had no problems afterwards. But, If I waited until afterwards, the Advil would reduce the pain but the pain would persist for 2-3 days even if I kept taking Advil on the recommended schedule. The preventative ability of Advil (anti-inflammatory) is where it really worked best....not the pain reliever.

try the already made "uncrustables" frosen pb&j sandwhiches. no crust. keep them frozen till you need them, pack them in your bag. Perfect for between games or at half time. I swear by them!

Doh! how could I forget about those! My mother keeps them around for the grandkids. I prefer the PB and Honey. Never thought to take those along for the ref-ride. Good tip, +1.

Not a terrible suggestion either. I'd think a simple peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat would also carry you pretty well.

And they would have to secure permission to put 'the picture' on the wrappers.
