Question

Did anyone catch ESPN's Outside the Lines this morning?\

It was a pretty good review of his past actions and then there was a pretty heated discussion with a U of I professor and Don Chaney, coach of Temple U.

The segment mentioned that Butch Beard, who played for Knight back in the 80s, accused Knight of using the 'N' word on a few occasions.

So the saga continues and in June a review board made up of Indiana deans will present their findings. Stay tuned.

I will give Knight credit for one thing. Indiana has graduated 98% of its players since his arrival, compared with a 43% average for the rest of the NCAA.

I'd like to know what percentage of Knight's RECRUITS have graduated.

Wink

If Bobby gets fired he can always get a job on the Olympic chair-throwing team.

If you were playing for Knight, wouldn't you want to be out of there ASAP?

Thumbs up

Mark P--leave it to you to make a good joke.

Mark (the other one)--yes I would not stay. I am a critic of Bobby Knight as a coach and his handling of officials. His methods as a coach is another subject and probably stop a lot of players going to IU. I just wish that UNLV would get some of those great 'white boys' from Indiana who can shoot the '3'.

Angry

Just last week i had the radio on while
on my way home and the Michael Reagan Show
had a recording of one of Bobby Knights 1/2 time "pep talks" most of it was beeped out and what i did get was the most horrid thing i have ever heard in my life. The players were threatened and verbally assaulted, i could just imagine what refereeing a game would be like with that pompous ASS ranting and raving up and down the sideline's.

Maybe Indiana will have the "basketballs" to finally say GoodNight Mr. Knight.

I had that sound file emailed to me about a year ago, without the beeps. I wish I would have saved it. It was one of the most disgusting "pep talks" I've ever heard. Coaches are supposed to be teachers and the court is supposed to be their classroom. If a "course" teacher ever spoke to his or her students in a classroom like that they'd be fired on the spot.
