Unlike last year, the survey at NFHS | National Federation of State High School Associations appears to be open. Pretty easy to follow the links. If you can't you shouldn't complete the survey.;)

One of the questions asks if we should make the myth about player location during free throws with no one in the the lane and make it a rule. :eek:

I don't know why they would entertain that...except that too many officials think that's the rule. That's a shame.

I voted no on that one. Too bad the delay in return to the court after a throw-in was not in the survey.

I voted no as well. It just surprised me that it was on the survey. First time I can remember that being on the survey. It's a shame cause I feel like the only reason they're asking about changing the rule is because too many officials don't know the rule.

Yeah, I wonder how many officials taking the test thought, "I thought that was already the rule."
