I have emailed the rules / cases to coaches the day after the game. But, it depends on the coach and your relationship with him/her.

Same here, the night of the game I avoid coaches as much as possible.

I wouldn't show the Coach the Rules Book because he will definitely have problems with the longer words (anything with two or more syllables). But I would show him the picture book of rules (Illustrated Rules Book). Ain't I a stinker. :D

Peace

My dad is still waiting on a steak dinner from a coach after we had a held ball followed by a player T. T was on the team that would of had the AP and the coach wanted the possession after the T and was betting that we were in the wrong.

Mark T. DeNucci, Sr. is waiting for the NFHS to come out with a basketball rulebook with extra large type.

You let him keep the arrow, though, right?

No. But your best answer in this situation is: It's one exception in the rule, coach.

We didn't let him have the AP the rest of the game.

No, of course he got to keep it, he just wasnt allowed to take it home with him as it was the visiting team that night.

I would not bring out the book after the game. I did, on one occasion, boot a rule myself. After I looked it up I sent the rule, and casebook plays to the AD at the school I was working. I asked the AD to pass the message along to the coach with my apologies.

Whenever I explain a rule to a coach and they tell me I'm wrong I say, "Coach, I have a rule book in my bag. Let's look it up. If I'm wrong, I'll give you $100 - but if I'm right, you have to go out into the parking lot and wash my car. Is it a bet?"

I've never had a coach take me up on that.
