Several years ago when my oldest daughter was a starting V as a freshman.......I was appalled at the ignorance and vocal diatribes from our teams fans. Since my daughter was just a freshman and most of the parents were V veterans......I was the new parent in the stands. After a few games of being fed up with some of these parents behavior.......I printed up several TASO (our HS officiating association at that time) applications and gave them out to the most vocal offenders of the bunch stating that since they were so knowledgable........TASO could sure use them.

Needless to say......I wound up watching the rest of the seasons games alone.

Don't you think that maybe....just maybe..... that coach might have been a bigger problem for you than the fan?

WHEN THE COACH SPOKE TO ME ( US) HE WAS RESPECTFUL AND ASKED OR COMMENTED IN A VOICE THAT NO ONE ELSE COULD HEAR.

Sorry about the caps..

As for why that fan should have been ejected, and not some of the others, it was purely volume and consistency.

But he still complained constantly though, right? As per your post?

I won't let any coach complain constantly. No matter how respectful or quiet they may be, they're still complaining constantly. A coach could very quietly and in a voice no one else could hear call me an azzhole too. But as I said, that's just me.
