Which camp is this??
I am in Atlanta and have been to 2 or 3 camps in Athens. GHSA and SEC Womens ball. Both were good, but SEC was very crowded.
The facilities at UGA are fantastic, and clinicians at each camp I've been to were outstanding. Not to mention great restaurants around town!

Buck -

I'm in Greensboro and would be interested in camps in this area too. I moved from NY a year ago and don't know too much about the area.

Jack,

Are you in an association and how long have you been officiating? I was going to ask some of the guys in my association about some camps. It would be great if you could come join our association. It is northwest officials basketball association. Have you heard about it? Let me know or e-mail me at
[email protected].

North State. Assignor is Glen Spivey. We do up to and including JV with 2 man rotation. Varsity association is called Triad (Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem). Varsity is 3 man rotation. I got to do men's league to learn 3 man since where I came from (NY) was 2 man even at varsity (did some scrimmages).

Does anybody in NC/Virginia know about Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference (CVAC) Officials Invitational Camp? It is run by Bill Freeman and Zelton Steed at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, NC. I received an invite in the mail. 4 day camp.

OK -- found out Zelton Steed is big time D1/ACC official. This camp sounds promising....

I received unsolicited invite in the mail. They said something that I may have also been identified as a candidate for the league. Space is limited and only the first 40 officials will be accepted.

Not a member of Triad, although that is my goal. Being a first year official in NC (2 years in NY at modified-frosh-JV), need another year and a good camp to move up to varsity level.

Question

Any suggestions for camps in Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee for someone looking mainly for instruction?
