Coach Morgan Wootten is going to announce his retirement on Wednesday. My question for any of the coaches or officials out there is: Would you want to be the coach that follows him?

I think I would have a hard time accepting a job trying to live up to a legend like Coach Wootten.

I certainly wouldn't want to. Have grown up in the D.C. area my favorite battles were between Wooten and Stu Vetter.

I wouldn't want to be his replacement, but I was sure happy to have officiated for him one time before his retirement. He was a gentleman and it was a pleasure to work his game. (It was a very tight game for a while, too.)
