I will say this...
 

... maybe my best game of last year was between a 3-16 team and a 2-17 team. There were lots of things going on that made it special, but those teams really, really wanted to win that game. Home makes a horse-esqe bucket to go ahead with 4.3 seconds, and I wipe off a 60 foot heave released after the final buzzer... that was nothing. but. net. Great stuff.

You can tell going in about the skill level of the teams, but not necessarily about the game you are going to get.

I think my assignor draws names out of a hat. Had this fiasco last week, thought I might be in the doghouse. But this Friday my games are in class 3A and the two boys teams are ranked #1 and #7 in the state. We'll see how it goes.
