1. Three (twice)
2. Absolutely nothing. Peace

We actually cover a private school that provides us with an ice-filled cooler of beer, and soda, in the dressing room, after our games. It's always good to have a cold beer after a game, but to get one immediately afterward, it's like you died and went to officiating heaven.

1. 3 OTs in basketball, 6 OTs in soccer (prior to the state instituting the kicks from the mark tiebreaker following 2 OTs).
2. I would support the players receiving a sixth foul if the game were to reach 2 OTs. All individuals who were DQ'd for five fouls would be eligible to return and play. My reasoning is that 2 OT equates to a full extra quarter of playing time. |

I remember this in the NBA......
How long ago did this one go away? Just curious.

NBA.com - NBA Rules History It's a fascinating read, even if you're like me and haven't watched a full NBE game since the early 90s. |

1. 3 (I think)
2. None. MTD Sr. may have to go digging upstairs but I think back in the day the second OT was sudden death...I think. At least at some point, there was sudden death. Helluva defensive game! |

You don't post much here, so I don't know if you read a lot, but there have been several posts recently that have set the new standard.

I don't ever remember that. But OT used to be 3 minutes. My senior year, we had one OT game and the OT was 3 minutes. That was the 1974-75 season.

What's ironic is that so many of you decided to condemn Cobra for doing exactly that. Just sayin'....
