Question

What do you do with a player that has a pierced tongue?

It's not a visible piece of jewelry, but could cause injury if the player goes up for a layup or dunk "a la" Michael Jordan? (Hardly possible, but it could happen).

Your thoughts please?

Rene

It falls under, don't go looking, but if you see it, deal with it.

True story, or at least he said it was...A volleyball partner was working a match last year. R1 does not like his call and walks over to the stand to complain. She is not the captain, so she should not be addressing him and he is about to remind her of it when he sees her tongue. In the process of complaning, he sees it is peirced.

Reason number 345 to keep your trap shut and not argue with the refs.

Did anyone see the "Zits" cartoon in the sunday paper a few weeks ago, that had to do with braces and a volleyball net? I don't know how to do the url address thing, but if anyone else does, a reference at this point would give us a good laugh.

Totally off topic

I love the comic strip "Zits". Unfortunately, the only URL I have for it only contains the daily strips. No Sundays.
