NCAA Men's/Women's R3-S4-A17

I have not been posting a lot the for the last couple of months because of other activities (all of the legal, ). Anyway, Andy (our younger son) and I were watching the Tennessee at Pittsburgh game and I just saw the implementation of NCAA R3-S4-A7. And it is a bigger abomination upon the game that Alternation Possession. I think it is a stupid rule in the NBA/WNBA, but can live with it at that level, BUT at the college level. I just may retire (just kidding of course) if it is adopted by the NFHS.

Watched it. Agree. Doesn't make sense that you can injure a player so that he can't continue, and then gain the advantage(unless the foul was intentional or flagrant) of picking the worse FT shooter on the court to shoot the ensuing FT's.

This is why we practice those dreadful free throws.

I do not see it as a big deal. It just prevents teams from trying to fake an injury which they have done in the past. And if the action is on purpose the offended team still gets to choose who shoots the FT. Again practice your free throws and you will eliminate the advantage the other team might get.

Peace

Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.
