Thank God, and all others involved, he's my progeny and not yours. I am positive he is up to the challenge.

He'll be long gone past this level by the time I am assigned a V HS game. Maybe w/ his 2 younger siblings, better chance there.
#1 and #2 sons worked a D-1 Women's scrimmage at summer camp and we're not even near So Calif!!

And I am very impressed that he is doing a Varsity game at 19! Kid's got a bright future!!

Thanks, Rocky. He woulda been there last year barring severe dysfunction and lack of organization by the previous leaders of his board.

In other words less stressful LMAO

BNR can speak to the level of the competitive environment he is working tonight. I think the only stressful part will be making his way through the metal detectors deployed at the gym entrance;);)

Well, he's working with a D1 official who is also one of my mentors. He'll be in good hands tonight.

I don't have any games scheduled w/#1 but we have a meeting Sunday. I'll talk to him and see how his first week went.

In fact, it was a rivalry game:

Visiting team won by 2 points in a low scoring game in which the 2 teams only shot 17 free throws combined.

What's a metal detector? I get to walk around all those.

They let you do that if you have a plate in your head. Apparently yours isn't big enough.

Apologies to Randy Quaid.

It has nothing to do with neurological conditions that I can walk around metal detectors.

If you don't know what it is, then how do you know you walk around (all of) them?
