Well, he's working with a D1 official who is also one of my mentors. He'll be in good hands tonight.

I don't have any games scheduled w/#1 but we have a meeting Sunday. I'll talk to him and see how his first week went.

Visiting team won by 2 points in a low scoring game in which the 2 teams only shot 17 free throws combined.

What's a metal detector? I get to walk around all those.

They let you do that if you have a plate in your head. Apparently yours isn't big enough.

It has nothing to do with neurological conditions that I can walk around metal detectors.

If you don't know what it is, then how do you know you walk around (all of) them?

Because of having an ICD I don't go through metal detectors. I have an ID Card on me that I show to security personnel, so whenever I go through a security check point, it's always a pat-down.

Do you circle around and go through the pat-down again? How many times? Do you take clean underwear and change after each pat-down? Have a post-pat-down cigarette?

Sigh...so little time, so many questions....

LMAO I only get the pat down once as I empty all my pockets. So far, the only places I've had to worry about are the Federal Building & County Courthouse.

I have no idea what effect the new full-body scanners have, if any, on the ICD.

I've been trained on how to do the pat downs, so it doesn't bother me.

Your county courthouse doesn't use the new scanners? (serious question)

Not yet, no plans yet on the Federal Building either.

If the county would stop wasting money on immigration & translation services things would be better.

Was just stating an opinion is all. Majority of the residents of the county I live in speak a language other than English.

Not really. The thing with rivalry games is they're noisier. That's about it, really. Don't get caught up in it as an official.
