I would even argue that a good lead official who can see everything, could see he sat down and not administer ft throws until he came back onto court.

1) It's got nuthin' at all to do with being "T" happy imo. If you can stop the player from leaving the court or get the player back on the court in a hurray, fine. No need for a "T". But if the player goes and sit's down and stays there, you have to either call the "T" or a violation. Jmo also but I've found that officials who usually use a phrase like "T-happy" in the context of a discussion like this are the same officials that will always find a reason not to call a technical foul.

2)And that statement tells me that you don't read the rule book. There is NO delay of game warning involved with a player leaving the court for an unauthorized reason during play. Never has been either. And I can't see where it has been mentioned in this thread either.

Without stepping on JR's toes here, are you serious? DoG warning? That tells me that you only read the subtitles.
