Free throw is good. Shoot the second with no players on the lane, then penalize the foul accordingly.

JAR is correct.
Now the question to ask is why are the players fouling each other during the 1st of two FT attempts? There's not going to be a rebound.

The OP didn't say it was about a rebound. Could have been about hairstyle choices, or mother-related comments. ;)

Hmm...aren't those more like to result in technical fouls? ;)

I'm sure you're right about the probabilities. I was challenging Nevada's assumption that the fouls were due to rebounding after the first of two.

Did you note that the OP wrote, "commits a personel [sic] foul in the lane?"

Yes. Because the ball is live during a free throw attempt, it is possible to commit a personal foul, even though it's the first of two attempts.

I'm not arguing with your main point, which might be that it's a dumb time for a foul.

Was there any chance that the foul could have been ruled intentional or a technical ?????

Was B-2 just standing there and got shoved ?????

Zero chance that a technical foul of any kind could be called. The rules don't allow us to assess "T"s for contact fouls during a live ball.

An intentional personal foul is always a judgment call to be made by the calling official.
