How fortunate can a kid get?

This weekend, my partner for two of my games brought along his young daughter to watch the teams. The games were 8th grade girls and 7th grade girls and his daughter plays on a 4th grade rec team. She told me her coach is also a coach at a local HS school that has incredibly good girls teams year after year. Apparently, his daughter is on this 4th grade team and that's why he coaches it.

She told me some of the plays they run and it just impressed the heck out of me. She said when she "grows up" she wants to play for that HS. She hopes the coach's daughter is on her teams all the way through 8th grade and that the coach continues to coach them.

According to my partner, the coach is great with the kids and coaches them at an age appropriate level. He told me he's pretty happy about the situation. Duh!
