Since McDonalds is the sponsor, do you get Chicken McNuggets at halftime? ;)

We all know that rut will look like this

The bright lights never bother me because I am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other. :D

MTD, Sr.

P.S. Rut, the bright lights reflect of the large bald spot on the top of my head and give a hallo like appearenct to my officiating. :D

P.P.S. And Rut, have fun and congratulations.

Rut - be sure to wear a shirt like this. You can put the McNuggets in the pocket.

Mark:

Why don't you overnight ship Rut a pair of your favorite goodluck fishnet hose to wear.

I just wanted everyone to know that I will be officiating a basketball game on TV tomorrow afternoon/evening on Comcast Sportsnet Chicago. I am working a game in the City-Suburban (McDonald's I believe) Shootout at the University of Illinois-Chicago Campus at 4:30. I have the first of 3 games. I am not sure how national these games will be shown, but if you have Direct TV or some feed through Comcast stations you might be able to see it. I know many of those in Illinois can see it and probably other parts of the Midwest.

Just thought you guys should know.

Hope we can catch it on cable /comcast maybe. Great job in what I assume to be a VERY competitive area to officiate in . Congratulations ! :)

Sorry I'm late to the thread...late night due to travel last night and on the road early today due to an afternoon game.

Congrats Jeff on the assignment!

How did everything go?

Jeff
I caught about the last 15 minutes of the game.
You looked good, nice job, truly professional.:)

No, but Malnati's pizza, some of the best in the Chicago area and a game fee that would make any DIII ref jealous.

Lou Malnati's cannot, and will not ever be beaten as far as deep dish is concerned.

Well, I know one thing for certain, Padgett would be proud of the shoes he wore. How do I know? Because I could see the logos from the other side of the arena! JRut, I assume you need a refill on your black magic marker? :p

And, to top it off, he didn't offer to share any of his pizza! Geeze!

Oh, and btw, I could tell great officiating from the other side of the arena too. :) Good job.

Everything went well. I work both leagues normally and I have had both teams in the past. So there was not a lot of "where did this guy come from" type conversation. It was the most competitive game of the night and it was fun despite we have some confusion with the TV timeouts as the table was also confused. Other than that both partners were great and one of the veterans gave me a great complement afterward. Overall that was a great night. ;)

Peace
