An alley-oop that went wrong

Working BV last night. Good post player for the home team. Guard leads him very poorly for an alley-oop attempt and he ends up laid out right above the defender, who had and kept his spot on the floor. He certainly didn't move into the landing spot -- rather the landing spot ended up being where the defender was standing. Player glanced off the defender and landed awkwardly.

The ball ended up going the other way and the home bench went nuts, claiming the player was undercut. No freaking way. We had to stop the game while the player was tended to and an assistant almost picked up a technical foul for his trouble.

Scary, scary looking, that's for sure. Frankly, the team (especially the guards) isn't good enough to try something like that and the bad pass put the kid at risk.
