OK...I admit I'm new, but how could you KNOW he had done it without seeing it?

So he wasn't really out of control.
We've already mentioned that you can't make a call based on what you know in your mind happened. I'll add that you can't make a call solely based on previous behavior; especially an escalated call like intentional or flagrant.

You did good by refraining, although again, I wouldn't have even brought it up to the partner if I hadn't seen the action.

Wow...glad I'm not a defendant in your court room Your Honor.

Representing, I appreciate your posts because they are usually entertaining but this just doesn't sound good for you. :D

Never guess – It’s much easier to explain to coach that you didn’t get a good look at it (for whatever reason) than to try to explain something that may not have happened.

BTW, when you fell, were you back peddling or running forward with your shoulders/upper body turned?

:D Good question.

What should I have done? In my mind I KNEW he committed at least an intentional foul, but I didn't actually see it since I tripped. The player was acting all wild and out of control for the previous minutes up until this point, even took out his anger on a player by lightly shoving him. I gave him a warning for that, saying to chill out and knock it off. So it was one of those "you know it's going to happen, just a matter of when" moments.
...

After seeing this I could no longer take this post seriously.

Well, actually I stopped doing that a while ago. But I still like to read the scenarios. But this one is bull. He's making it up just to get a rise out of the forum.

Everything....

In just a little less than 2 months, you have had more things happen to you than in most official's careers.

Doesn't happen that way....

Apparently it does then. You don't know me, so how can you say I'm making this stuff up? I don't make stuff up unless I say something like "just thought of a situation". If I say "this happened tonight", then it did happen.

In a former association we had an official like that...he constantly got himself into trouble!

No one who has been officiating 6 years and is getting varsity games would post the stuff you post.

But, that's just my opinion, Old School.

If it does, it's time to figure out why, and I'm sure it isn't the fault of someone else every time.
