C of C & UNC

Did anyone see the game or the highlights ... at the end of the game UNC called timeout on a missed FT. The ball was rebounded in the lane.

However, the ball was put OOB on the sideline.

Is this correct? Should the ball have went to the paint?

Of course, if what you say is what actually happened. Remember, sometimes, in an effort to conserve time, highlights are cut to omit certain non-essential parts of the game.

I saw it too and noticed the time. I don't see how anything else could have happened. I thought the ball should have been at the most ft line extended but it looked to be above the three point line. no biggie(since UNC missed). nice win CC

They went to replay to correct the timing and probably saw that the ball was at or near that 28' when the time out was granted. Wasn't there a pass towards that sideline? If you notice the clock was also adjusted 1.1, It originally started at 2.2 and ran to 0.8.

YouTube - Highlights from CofC Stunning UNC

Go to about 4:20 in the video

FT - rebound - pass, freeze at 4:27. Its my guess they determined that is where the ball was when the time out was granted.

Thanks! I see what they did here. Looks good ... thanks for everyone's input! I thought the ball was still in the paint when they grated the TO. I se where they could have said it was in a different place.
