I don't know where Honesdale, PA is. I'm in Lancaster County, also known as Amish Country. Eastern PA, about midway between Harrisburg and Philadelphia.

40 miles NE of Scranton. Looks like Lancaster is about 125 miles or so to the SW. Kinda far, but if you want to make the trip I'll buy the first beer. :) |
i'm kinda lost in the sauce on this one. so far all we (my partner and I) have is "count the bucket", but that isn't going to work.thanks for all your help, e-mail me if you have any really good names.

OK...more seriously....
...count the bucket? i guess you want middle of the road stuff...
I'd be surprised if this wasn't taken by someone already, but I haven't seen it, yet: "Stars and Stripes" Camp |

what about "work the
court---basketball school for serious officials" or something like that. also we are in the process of designing a web page, possibly a forum like this, but w/ some d1 officials being administrators and anwsering any quesions we can't agree on. we were thiking about a chat room, and basically a very interactive sight. so, there is a good chance i will be seeking advice again soon |

Be sure the D1 officials that answer questions are of the basic philosophy, "Call it the way your assignor wants it called." You definitely don't want refs blaming you when they pass on travelling or call a foul that wouldn't be called that way at the High School level, or in small colleges. Has anybody been able to put together a "chat" on the IM yet? I'm not sure you'd get enough refs in one "chat room" together. If what you are planning is a "site", be sure the "sight" of it is good and not bad. Remember, grammar and spelling count!! |

Just my opinion, but I'm not crazy about "Work the Court". It just doesn't sound catchy to me.
R: "Hey, you going to 'Work the Court' this year?" U: "Well, I sure hope so. I had a full schedule last year." R: "No, no. I don't mean are you going to work the court; I mean, are you going to 'Work the Court'?" U: "What? You sound like that 'aaaaaaiiiiir conditioner, air conditioner' commercial from 20 years ago." R: "No, no, no. What's on second." Personally, I like the Stars and Stripes idea. But I think it would sound more prestigious if you called it Stars in Stripes. How do I sign up for my residuals?
