I'm fairly certain that the rule book refers to live ball and dead ball situations, so that edit in the previous post is unnecessary.

I was pointing out that the word should be "live" not "alive." Look at the original post. It says "alive." At least until Billy edits it.

So I'm fairly certain your post is unnecessary.
