Question

Does anyone have any information on NBA Camps, or know where I can get some information? The NBA is my ultimate goal and I need to start doing everything in my power now to achieve that goal. I would appreciate any info anyone can give me. Thank you in advance.

Crew,

What are some things I should expect at Coast to Coast? What are some things that I can do to prepare myself for the camp? I've been told that now is the time that I want to start going to these camps, I am 27 years old, because this is the ages they start to hire officials. Do they also use these camps to hire for their developmental leagues?

sohl,
expect to be humbled. i went to c2c thinking i knew quite a bit about basketball. compared to the clinicians(all nba staff) i realized that my basketball knowledge was thimble size compared to theirs.
to prepare yourself for camp and to get considered hired for the developemental league come in very good shape(lean and athletic). also try to gain some pro knowledge about the switches and the mechanics of the game. they are also looking to see how you adapt to situations out of your comfort zone. 27 is a great age to begin.
yes, they do use this camp to hire for their developemental league along with other camps.

Thanks Crew....

Thank you so much, I have already ordered and received my NBA and NCAA Rules manuals. Do they have a mechanics manual that I could also get?
