UConn throw-in violation 3 minutes remaining

What did people think of this?

Was it a throw-in pass? Was it a fumble?

He started to throw it and tried to bring it back. It wasn't a fumble.

So did he throw it or was he bringing it back and it slipped out of his hand?

So according to the "tuck rule" it was an incomplete pass and not a fumble.

If the thower in caught the ball before it went on the court, what was the violation? Could be 5 seconds, but could not be failure to throw the ball directly to the court since it looked to me it never on the court.

To me it looked like he threw it and after it left his hand he acted like he wanted to bring it back. I think it was a good call.

Funny how the defense just watched it bounce.

Why do you say that?

Do you know the rule?

I saw the play . The play was after a made basket. The announcer said the ball hit the line. I am not sure what the voilation was but I think it's because the inbounder threw the pass and it bounced out of bounds. Questionable to me whether it was a pass.
