Mi/ok

Okay, just saw Blake Griffin's steal/dunk. After he put it through, he grabs the ball and just sets it on the floor so it's not bouncing.

How many would call this D.O.G.?

Did it prevent / delay the other team from inbounding theball?

Whenever I've seen it, it's never "interfered" so there's nothing to call.

Don't be a plumber.

Fair enough, and I think that was the case here as well.

Neither. It's kinda common in the baseball forum.

This is a common term in officiating period. All sports have some form of this phrase. I have even hear, "Do not be a maverick."

But I think I first heard the term by one of the esteemed posters here on this site (or another site which I will not mention. )

Peace

From its context, I think it means, "Don't go looking for problems", but what's the reference to plumber? Electricians, HVAC's, and other skilled workers, will show up at my house, also looking for problems. They find the problem, fix it, and I write them out a check.
