I actually think that would be hysterical. I'd love to come out of the locker room to that. :D

The band was better.

Yoko Ono's Greatest Hits would be better than rap music.

How about Barry Manilow's Greatest Hits?

We have a park across the street from our house, and in the summer, there's always some teen parked right out front blasting out the thump-thump-thump stuff till all hours. My husband goes out and asks them to turn it down and they always say "Hey, it's a free country, I don't have to" and then he says, "True, but then I don't have to turn on my Barry Manilow out the windows either." They always leave...

Said give those refs a hand. Wheeeewwwww!" :D

Coming out of the locker room for the second half last night, 3 little kids (couldn't have been more than 7 years old) were at the end of the bleachers, all with their hands out for high five's from the refs. They all got one from me.

So did the kid last week, in case I wasn't clear. I'm not big on being stuffy.

Aren't there noise regulations in your area? Or do the police have more important things to do?

We've had several nights where the band was right behind us during warmups, and on a couple of the occasions, the band director asked if we had any special requests. I can't remember what my partners wanted, but I wanted Eye of the Tiger, and immediately it seemed like my cool factor shot up! (It took me a minute, but I noticed home team's mascot was the Tiger!)

List was current at time of printing.

"Mack The Knife"

Oh, the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear
And it shows them pearly white

Let's the coaches know who's the boss. I ask for it to played right before the National Anthem.

Oh, yea, there are noise ordinances on the books, but it generally takes about a half-hour to an hour to call, get someone there, and have them talk the folks down. It's a lot faster to just do it ourselves.

I didn't take it that way at all.

I had a partner (and very dear friend) who during the recorded music during the warmups, would always go ask the cheerleader -- "do you all have any Merle Haggard that you could play next?" They usually looked at him like he was from another planet -- which by the way, he was.

Three number ones:
"Walking on Thin Ice"
"Everyman… Everywoman…"
"No, No, No"

Great? A matter of opinion.
