Not true in NY. Just the reverse. Misfits from private schools end up getting dismissed and sent to public schools. No discipline problem in private schools. I attended Archbishop Molloy HS because they provided a better education and knew how to deal with discipline problems. Heck, we had a Dean of Discipline! By the way, we had one heck of a basketball program. Kevin Joyce, Brian Winters, Kenny Anderson, Kenny Smith...just to name a few. |
