I store a brick of plutonium in my bag. It keeps everything smelling nice and fresh. Plus - I can tell if someone has been in my bag. I just look to see if anyone is glowing.

These work pretty good.

If you don't have these, a scented dryer sheet works as a substitution but not as good as sneakerballs.

In light of some recent posts, maybe Padgett would fax you a prescription.

I'm guessing that the first time you wore these shoes, fresh out of the box, they didn't stink when you took them off. What makes athletic shoes stink after you wear them is the bacteria that grow. When the shoes sit around between wearings, they dry out and the bacteria go inactive, but once you put them on and start sweating again, those little cuties wake up again. A couple hours of the high life, and they really can produce a stink.

Cheaper shoes absorb and hold more sweat, so they also give the bacteria more to grow on for every wearing.

The best solution, I've found, is to use some sort of disinfectant in the shoes after every wearing. A basic Lysol type spray is just fine. My teenagers have always done this, and it works great.
