While the officials handled the foul and prevented a scuffle very well, there wasn't much communication. The technicals were never signalled, nor did the PA announcer announce them. Coach Holiday led Copeland to the locker room because Coach Williams wanted him gone. The TV announcers assumed he had been ejected.
