In last night's game there was a sequence where there was a
"controversial" GT call followed immediately by another "controversial" GT non-call. I thought both were close and I was just a tad surprised at the no-call, but upon replay I thought they got it right. Any basketball related, non-conspiracy theorist comments? BTW, I thought the offensive BI call on the Nets (Martin?) was beautiful. The whistle came immediately, no 1/2 second delay as in "hey! I think I got something here...". Of course that's why they get the big bucks (and the offender made it easy by pulling down on the rim).

Well, I didn't see the play, but I'm sure that you can tell whether the calls were right or not based on the crowd response.
Maybe we should change basketball into a reality show-type game. On a close block/charge, NBA/NCAA could take a media timeout, and have the fans vote on what the call would be. I'm sure they wouldn't be biased toward the home team or anything.
