Almost had it

Due to not pregaming (I know, I know) I almost had the dreaded BLARGE call! I was lead in a 3 person game. Play came from trail and we have a collision near the hoop. --BREAK IN ACTION: normal protocol around here is to have the patient whistle from the outside b/c lead (like I did) has the tendency to signal immediately BACK TO REGULAR PLAY-- I hit the whistle and I have both hands up, starting to signal my block. I notice my trail has a whistle as well and just happen to look as she is punching to go the opposite way. I immediately dropped 1 hand and "scratched" my head with the other Fortunately, coach never saw me b/c partner sold the hell out of the call. She also had the call 100% correct as I didn't pick it up until late. Oh well.

Primary defender. They were the only two involved. I picked the play up late in the drive and would have called it incorrectly had my Block been the only call.
