Thumbs up OT - community service

I was going to the grocery store and, of course, there's a Starbucks there. I don't drink coffee or tea (medical reasons) but my wife is a coffeeholic. She said Starbucks will give you a free cup of coffee if you pledge to do 5 hours of community service and she wanted me to bring a cup home for her. This has something to do with the new Obama administration.

There are cards at the counter to fill out. You don't have to put down your name, but you have to list what type of community service you intend to do. I indicated I would "toss at least one coach this weekend". I figured that was a worthwhile community service.

Does tossing an assistant coach count?

The benefit to the community would last much longer than that.

I thought you were going to tell us what the judge had assigned you to.

Just when you think you're gonna get a good "forgot my meds and went on a rampage" story....

Ah well.

And they still gave you a free coffee??? Dang! Just think of the multitude of ideas that could flow!
