I like that!

A bit of a chill here in your nation's capital. We're certainly not used to this......but, basketball is the least of our worries.

With the Inauguration just around the corner and all its associated events upcoming, we're supposed to have a few million of our "bestest friends" arriving from all over the world to enjoy our grid lock, wonderful temps, and to just keep us company over the next few days. JOY! :(

Stay away from DC! DANGER, Will Robinson! DANGER!! Everyone stay warm!

Sunny wishes.

I hear ya Deecee . . . I had to endure a "blistery" 66 on my drive to games last night. At one point I felt the need to even roll down the sleeves on my shirt. I didn't mind you, but I did FEEL the need. :p

The boys reserve game went on as scheduled last night, but the freshman game before it ran long. Me suspects the fellow officials were wanting to stay in the confines of warmth instead of going to their cars in the cold. :D

Al Gore invented global chillin'.

Schools closed here in mid mich due to wind chill.

On the drive home from my game last night, the temperature never read above -15F.

The school I was at had set-up 50 gallon propane tanks with heaters attached to blast hot air into some of the outer hallways overnight.

That's when you know it's cold...no, wait, stupid cold!!

I didn't work last night but went out with my wife. This was about 6 pm, sun is down, and I wore a short sleeve shirt. :)

Today it's suppose to hit 68 or so. And oh so sunny.

AD's are in a Pinch

Four snowout cancellations in seven days here.
The AD's are starting to feel the pinch. Many are now having games in spite of school being called off that day.
My scheduled games for tonight are on though school was called off. :)

My favorite show along with "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent". I don't mind watching the reruns, even if I know the outcome. I like to look for clues that I might have missed the first time I watched that episode. With Jay Leno moving to 10:00 p.m., what will happen to the "Law and Order" franchise? I don't usually turn on the boob tube until 9:30, or 10:00 p.m.
