My 1st year I was working a 9th grade league. V is taking it to H, something like 70-20. V is pressing, stealing and pressuringing H for the whole game. Nothing physical or dirty, just more aggressive and better. IMO, they should have backed off a long time before the end of the game, but they didn't. We had no place to change/shower at the JH, so we went across the court to change our shoes and go.

Teams were shaking hands after the game (I'm not in MA so we didn't have to observe the ritual :rolleyes:, we were just lucky enough to see it:D) and al of a sudden we hear the H coach yell, "F*** YOU, I HAVE A LONG F***ING MEMORY YOU S** OF A B****! I WILL SEE YOUR SORRY A** NEXT YEAR!" About that time some parents got to him and escorted him out of the gym.

I have no idea what happened "next year." I can't even remember who the 2 coaches were now.

I was working a 12 & U BabeRuth state championship game in WA and had an easy play at the plate. The boy's dad that I called out went crazy for some reason, went up to the fence and was really getting after me. Tournament officials were coming over to get him but not before another dad from the same team got into with him. The first dad turned his attention to him and just about came to blows. Craziest thing I ever saw. Asked the catcher who's dad that was, "Mine, I'm sorry."
