Clock says 0:00

I had this in a rec game this past weekend. The clock said 0:00, yet the horn didn't sound. The clock operator said there was still .9 seconds on the clock. What should I have done? I believe there is a case book play for this, but I just looked through a couple times and couldn't find it. Can anyone reference it for me? Thanks.

5-6-2 tells you the quarter ends when the signal sounds indicating time has expired. I believe there is also a case play in this same section that says there is a foul called with 0:00 showing, but the horn has not sounded. FT's will be shot with players on the lane because the period has not ended due to the horn not yet sounding.
