OC Pleated Slacks

Anyone order a new pair of the OC Black Pleated Slacks this season from Officials Choice? I'm wondering if you noticed that the pant legs do not have a slight taper. Instead they're a "straight" cut and excessively wide and quite elegant and "airy". Ended up taking mine to a tailor to put a slight taper in the pant legs from the knee down before they were wearable.

Beware....if you were thinking about ordering! Reason I didn't return was because it's easier & cheaper for me to have the pant legs altered....rather than deal with a "crap shoot" on how long it takes OC to make good.

Personally, I'd stick with the sansabelts. Haven't worn any of the other brands, but I've heards from many that they just aren't as good.

I have a pair of both - both brands are fine and have now stood up to two seasons of pretty heavy wear.

I prefer Smitty brand slacks. They use the Sansabelt waist, but the rest of the pants are made with a somewhat lighter material which I think makes them more comfortable.

I bought a couple of pairs of these.

As previous reviewers have reported:
Tighter in the waist than Sansabelts
Less taper in the legs -- more 'billowy'
Lighter weight fabric.

They run about 2 inches off. If you were a 36 order a 38
