Good call.

That is not correct. The TO has to be granted in the first place because the L did indeed grant A-CH's request for a TO.

The BCS is a total sham. The #10 team gets an at-large bid over the #9 ranked team??? That's a joke.

#9? Who did they play to get #9....NOBODY....just one ranked team....with a 5 point win. The only reason they're #9 is because the didn't play anyone. As other teams lost, they crept up....not because they impressed...just because they didn't schedule anyone that could beat them. If they'd scheduled a few more top 20 teams and won, they'd have been in. But would they have won? We don't know, they didn't schedule them. SOS matters.

As for #10....5 ranked opponents.

Doesn't seem like a joke to me.

Gentlemen, gentlemen. I just added the cheer for the Buckeyes because the BCS Bowl Games Announcement show had just ended and I was happy that the Buckeye made it back to a BCS Bowl Game. I think that we can all agree that the BCS leaves a lot to desire but this is no place to debate it. And besides, does it really amount to a hill of beans about who should go where and when.

P.S. Go Buckeyes!! Beat Texas!!

Maybe we could have a poll?

Maybe that's why we have thousands of dinosaur fossil footprints here in Connecticut. Two person mechanics followed the dinosaurs all the way to Connecticut, liked our beautiful state, and stayed here.

Ok, it could have been a poor game, but they still screwed it up.
1. Misapply the rules.
2. Allow one coach to complain and get the decision in his favor.
3. When the other coach, who is correct about the rule, complains, he gets a T.

Sounds like an honest appraisal to me.

Mick was right, I usually try to stay positive in my critique of officials I observe and I try and stay away from discussing judgment. However, this was one of those situations where the crew called a very good game and then had it totally go south through their actions at the end. I was nicer than it probably came across in the post but it became an ugly situation especially after the "T". I try and be honest with what I observed because it is what I saw and that is how we all learn. Thanks for all of your feedback. As I was told at a camp this summer, "you can have a great game for 39 1/2 minutes and have it all go to H#$% in the last 30 seconds and that is all you will be remembered for". That is what I tried to convey to this crew and I also tried to explain once one officials grants a timeout request, the other can't take it away.
